A private, fixed-price Madinah to Makkah taxi, door to door between your hotels, with the Miqat stop at Abyar Ali included for pilgrims entering Ihram.
A private taxi from your Madinah hotel to your hotel in Makkah at a fixed fare. The journey is about 450 km and takes 4.5 to 5 hours on the road, plus the stop at the Miqat if your group is entering Ihram for Umrah.
All prices in Saudi Riyal (SAR) and per vehicle, not per person — a family filling a sedan pays the sedan price once.
Includes fuel, tolls and parking, and the Miqat stop at Abyar Ali if you need it. No advance deposit — pay the agreed fare at the end of the journey.
This is the direction that needs planning. Travelling towards Makkah you cross the Miqat, so pilgrims intending Umrah enter Ihram at Dhul Hulayfah, known to most pilgrims as Abyar Ali, about 11 km from the Prophet’s Mosque and essentially on your way out of the city.
The stop is included and costs nothing. Your driver pulls in, waits while your group changes and prays, then continues. Allow 30 to 45 minutes for a family; the site has washrooms, changing facilities and a large mosque.
Tell us at the time of booking whether you need the Miqat stop, so the time is built into the journey rather than discovered at the roadside. We are a transport company and not a religious authority: on the Miqat itself, follow the guidance of your group’s scholar.
About 450 km and 4.5 to 5 hours of driving. With the Miqat and a break, plan for five and a half to six hours from door to door.
Arrival in Makkah is the slowest part, as it is for every vehicle: the streets closest to the Haram are controlled, and at prayer times the central area fills. Your driver takes you to the door where he is allowed to, and to the nearest permitted point where he is not.
Choose by people and by luggage. Groups leaving Madinah are usually carrying more than when they arrived, so if you are between two sizes, take the larger one.

The Haramain High Speed Railway connects the two cities and is quicker on the moving leg. On this route there is one more thing to weigh: where you intend to enter Ihram.
| Private Taxi | Haramain Train | |
|---|---|---|
| Route | Hotel → hotel, direct | Hotel → station → station → hotel |
| Miqat | Driver stops at Abyar Ali and waits | Enter Ihram before boarding; the train does not stop for it |
| Vehicle changes | None — one vehicle the whole way | A transfer at each end |
| Departure | The hour you choose | The hour on the timetable |
| Luggage | Stays in the car, door to door | Moved on and off the train yourselves |
| Stops | Prayer, food or rest whenever you want | None |
We do not sell train tickets. For a couple travelling light who have already entered Ihram, the train is often the better answer. For a family with cases, Zamzam water and a Miqat stop to make, one car from door to door usually is.
If you intend Umrah, yes. This direction crosses the Miqat, so pilgrims enter Ihram at Dhul Hulayfah (Abyar Ali) before continuing. Travelling for any other reason, no Ihram is needed.
Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Mention it when you book so the stop is in the plan and we allow for the time.

About 450 km and 4.5 to 5 hours, or five and a half to six hours door to door with the Miqat stop and a break.
To the door wherever vehicles are allowed, and otherwise the nearest permitted drop-off point. Access near the Haram is controlled by the authorities and varies with the hour.
Yes, as a separate booking — see Ziyarah tours of Makkah.
Per vehicle. The price covers the whole car, so a family of four travelling by sedan pays the sedan price once. Adding passengers up to the vehicle’s seat count does not change the fare.
Completely private. It is your group and the driver only — no shared seats, no other bookings collected on the way and no detours.
Yes. Every fare is all-inclusive — fuel, tolls and parking are already covered. There is no meter and nothing extra is collected at the end of the journey.
Each vehicle’s seat and bag capacity is listed above. Tell us the number of cases when you book: a group that fits the seats but not the luggage space is the most common booking mistake, and we would rather say so beforehand.
The fare is the same at every hour of the day. Rates during peak periods are published in advance on the rate list rather than applied at the roadside, so the price you are given when you book is the price you pay.
No deposit. Message us on WhatsApp with your date, the number of passengers and bags, and your pickup and drop-off. We reply with the fixed fare and the vehicle, and you pay at the end of the journey.
