Haramain Taxi — Umrah Taxi Service

Umrah Taxi Offers — Special Fares for Makkah, Madinah & Jeddah Airport

Time-limited taxi offers on our fixed-price routes between Jeddah Airport, Makkah and Madinah. Every fare below is for the whole vehicle, not per person, and includes tolls, parking, fuel and airport fees — you book the taxi, not a seat in it. When one of our taxis is making a journey anyway, that run goes on this page at a reduced price until it leaves.

How our special taxi fares work

A taxi that has to drive from Makkah to Madinah to reach its next booking makes that journey whether anyone is in it or not. Rather than run it empty, we put that taxi on this page at a reduced fare. You still get the whole vehicle to yourself — we do not sell seats, and nobody else is put in the car with you. That is the whole reason the price is lower — not a cut in the car, the driver or the service. You get the same licensed driver, the same vehicle and the same fixed price with nothing added at the end of the ride.

Because these runs depend on where our cars already are, an offer appears at short notice and is usually gone within a day or two. There is no queue and no deposit: the first person to message us takes the car.

Which vehicle you get

Every fare on this page and across our rate list is for the whole vehicle. A family of four filling a sedan pays the sedan price once — there is no per-person charge, and no charge for luggage.

Toyota Camry / Hyundai Sonata 4 passengers · 3 bags Affordable sedan for small families
Hyundai Staria 7 passengers · 8 bags Comfortable private van
Toyota Hiace 11 passengers · 14 bags Best for group transport

If you need a 7 seater for a family group, the Hyundai Staria is the usual choice; for larger groups with luggage the Toyota Hiace takes 11. A GMC Yukon or Suburban can be arranged on request for a private car transfer — message us for a GMC price on your route, as those are quoted per booking rather than from the standard list.

Work out your taxi fare in seconds

Choose your pickup, drop-off and vehicle for the exact fixed price, then send it straight to us on WhatsApp. An offer above, when one is running, is cheaper than the standard fare this gives you for the same journey. Every one of our everyday prices is on the full rate list.

Fares by route

Each route has its own page with the full price, journey time, distance and what to expect on the way:

Taxi, bus or the Haramain train?

Most people comparing a Makkah to Madinah taxi fare are also looking at the bus and the Haramain high-speed railway. All three are reasonable choices and they suit different trips:

  • Haramain high-speed train — fastest city centre to city centre, and good value for one or two people. You still need transport at both ends, tickets sell out in Hajj and Ramadan, and the departure time is fixed rather than yours.
  • Bus — the cheapest way to travel between Makkah and Madinah if you are alone. Slower, with stops, and luggage space is limited.
  • Private taxi — door to door from your hotel, at a time you choose, with your luggage and your family in one vehicle. For three or more people the total fare is usually close to the combined cost of train or bus tickets once transfers at both ends are counted.

We are not the right answer for every journey, and we would rather say so than have you arrive disappointed.

Questions people ask about Umrah taxi fares

How much is a taxi from Makkah to Madinah?

Put Makkah and Madinah into the fare calculator on this page for the exact price, with a separate figure for the sedan, the 7 seater and the 11 seater. The fare is fixed for the whole vehicle and includes tolls, parking and fuel. When a discounted run is available it appears at the top of this page.

Is the taxi fare fixed, or does it change?

It is fixed. You are told the price before you book and that is what you pay at the end of the journey. There is no meter, no surcharge for luggage and no charge per person.

What does a 7 seater cost from Makkah to Madinah?

The Hyundai Staria takes 7 passengers and is priced separately from the sedan — choose it in the calculator on this page for the exact fare on your route. For larger groups the Toyota Hiace takes 11 with room for luggage.

Do you have GMC cars?

Yes, a GMC can be arranged on request for most routes. GMC transfers are quoted per booking rather than from the standard rate list, so message us with your route and date for a price.

How long does the journey from Makkah to Madinah take?

The distance is about 450 km and the drive takes roughly four and a half hours, including a short rest stop. Departure times are yours to choose.

Can I book a taxi from Jeddah Airport to Makkah on arrival?

Yes. Send us your flight number and we track the arrival, so the driver is waiting even if the flight is early or late. The Jeddah Airport to Makkah taxi fare is fixed in advance.

How do I book one of these offers?

Message us on WhatsApp. Offers are first come, first served, and we will confirm the vehicle and the pickup time in the same conversation.

Do you serve Taif, Ziyarah sites and hotel transfers?

Yes. Makkah and Madinah Ziyarah tours are on our rate list, and one-off routes such as Makkah to Taif can be quoted on request.
