Two things decide your departure time, and only one of them is the road. Most pilgrims perform the farewell Tawaf before leaving Makkah, and the Haram is busiest around the prayer times — the walk back to the hotel can take longer than the drive to the airport.
Tell us your flight time when you book and we will suggest a pickup time that allows for it. As a rule we aim to have you at the terminal three hours before an international departure and about two before a domestic one, and we add time for the Tawaf and for traffic around the Haram.
